Gazebo Mandala Art Day
Lake Lure Artists met at the Gazebo at Morse Park to create mandalas out of a variety of natural (and not so natural materials). It was a morning of fun - socially distanced and full of creativity.

The Lake Lure Artists are a group of painters, sculptors, fiber artists, photographers, potters, and jewelry makers. We sell our artwork at shows, galleries, and at Medina's Bistro in Chimney Rock. We are also participating in the Lodge on Lake Lure's Wednesday Art and Wine evenings.
The Lake Lure Artists have been meeting at 9:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month since the early 1980's. There are no dues to be a member of the artists group and no mandatory attendance requirements. There is no level of artistic mastery required to be a member, only a love of art and a desire to share your time with others who feel the same way.
We have an annual art sale in Lake Lure and many of our artists show their work in galleries and community art shows. Be sure to check out our artwork at the Mountains Branch Public Library in Lake Lure.
You can find artwork by Lake Lure Artists in several locations around Lake Lure. Check out our hanging schedule below to find out whose artwork is displayed in area businesses.
Many thanks to Medina's Village Bistro in Chimney Rock for supporting the Lake Lure Artists. Medina's has an entire wall dedicated to our artwork. So stop by for great food and beautiful art!
