Who are we?

The Lake Lure Artists are a group of painters, sculptors, fiber artists, photographers, potters, and jewelry makers.  We sell our artwork at shows and galleries in the area.  

 

The Lake Lure Artists have been meeting at 9:30 a.m. on the second and fourth Thursday of each month since the early 1980's.    There are no dues to be a member of the artists group and no mandatory attendance requirements.  There is no level of artistic mastery required to be a member, only a love of art and a desire to share your time with others who feel the same way.

Our artists display their work at the Mountain Branch Library in Lake Lure. Stop by and see the featured artists.  Many of our group also are members of Tryon Painters and Sculptors and show their work in their gallery and shows.  For more information about TPS, visit their website.
