 I began my artistic endeavors as a potter, but ever the experimenter I began using my kiln for art glass pieces.  My venturing into watercolor batik grew out of a class at Sunset River Marketplace in Calabash, NC. That one class set me off on a path that included creating my own designs in this exciting and unique process.
